HUAWEI CHALLENGES IN COURT, LAW LIMITING ITS SALE IN THE UNITED STATES
The Chinese technology giant Huawei filed a petition in a US court challenging the constitutionality of a law limiting the sale of its telecommunications equipment.
Wednesday's action is the latest in a current Huawei confrontation with the US government, which says China's telecommunications company is a threat to international cyber security.
Song Liuping, senior legal officer, announced that Huawei has filed a motion for summary judgment asking the court to rule on a military spending provision prohibiting the government and its subcontractors from using Huawei's equipment.
The world's largest network equipment manufacturer is fighting a US campaign to convince its allies to stop doing business with the company.
